Did you know that paper made from trees only exists since 1845?
Paper is originally derived from the Greek word pápyros, the name for the papyrus plant, which grows along the river Nile and Eufraat. The plant paper was first used by the Egyptians and the Babylonians. The Chinese professionalized papermaking in the following millennia.
Our point? Paper can be made from various sources (you guessed it). Prefer the ones made from waste streams, like plant waste.
Together, we’re working towards a climate positive paper industry.
