HUMAN VS. THE EARTH

The limited edition collection is made in collaboration with illustrator Honorata van den Akker. She uses collages to express her thoughts on social themes, such as sustainability. Her words on the collection:

“The inspiration for these illustrations is: human vs. the earth. There is no set meaning of what it represents, but it evokes a certain feeling. It shows the connection between the way we consume and produce, and how this impacts the world. Sometimes I worry about what the future will look like: deforestation, water scarcity, the extinction of animals.. This is the main thought behind the collage. Next to this, there is this sense of time. Better said: a lost sense of time. Is this the future, or the past?”
