Paper on the Rocks process your personal data if you use one of our services/products or because you have given us your personal data.
Here you will find a list of all the data we might process if you have provided us with this information:

Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process
Our website and services do not have the intention to collect data of visitors below the age of 16. Unless they have their parents or a legal guardian’s permission. However, we can’t monitor if a visitor is over the age of 16. We advise parents to be involved with your child’s internet activities, this is to minimize the chances of your child’s data being collected. If you are convinced that we collected data from a minor, please contact us via hello@paperontherocks.com, we will act accordingly and remove said data.
The reason why we collect personal data
Paper on the Rocks collects data for the following purposes:
- Processing payments;
- Sending of e-mails regarding your order, including an e-mail to ask for a review and offer a discount code;
- Sending of newsletters, if you have opted in;
- Give you the opportunity to register an account on our site;
- To deliver our product to you.
How long we keep your personal data
Paper on the Rocks stores personal data no longer than is necessary. We apply the following retention periods:
- Personal data (address, e-mail) : Two years (unless registered to an On The Rocks account);
- Payment details in case you placed an order: indefinite.
Sharing of personal data with third parties
Paper on the Rocks does not sell your data to third parties and will only share data if needed to fulfil our services or if it is needed because of an obligation to the law. With companies that use your personal information we closed an agreement to make sure they use the same level of security with your personal data.
Cookies, or similar techniques, that we use
Paper on the Rocks only uses technical, functional and analytical cookies that do not infringe on your privacy. A cookie is a small textfile that is saved on your device when you first visit our site, cookies make sure that our site runs like it should run. This also benefits a customers experience on the site. You can delete all cookies in your browser if needed.
Requesting to see personal data
You have the right to see the personal data we collected from you. It is possible to correct or even delete it. Furthermore, you have the ability to object our use of your personal data. If you want to see, delete or adjust your personal data collected you can do so by e-mailing your request here hello@paperontherocks.com. To do so we need to see a copy of your ID card.
How we protect your personal data
Paper on the Rocks takes the protection of your personal data very seriously, and we will act accordingly when your data has been infringed by outside parties or in the case your data is lost.
